REVIEW // Flight Facilities – Stand Still ft. Micky Green

flight facilities

Having had a few days of sunshine and summer weather, this new single from Flight Facilities could not have come at a better time.

Pairing this time with Micky Green, a Paris-based but Australian-born singer, this song is a little bit different to the house and disco sounds we love from Flight Facilities, but no less infectious. The driving percussive beats mean you can’t help but move, and that whistling just makes me want to get out on to the Insta-filtered streets and in the sunshine.

Look forward to remixes of this catchy tune – from Wave Racer, Mario Basanov from Future Classic, as well as New Yorker Com Truise. You can also catch Flight Facilities if you’re headed to Stereosonic or Falls. Or both.

THE BREAKDOWN:
Hometown: Sydney, Australia.
Latest album: Their full EP is expected early December – keep an eye out for it!
Sounds like: The Knocks, Gigamesh
Say what? The name “Flight Facilities” comes from the aviation company one of the boys’ grandfather owned – not just for cute outfits.
